On April 28, Bianca Green, Housing Loan Officer with the Forsyth County Community & Economic Development Department, accepted the first ever Financial Health First Responder Award alongside several other finalists at the Financial Pathways of the Piedmont annual luncheon.
Financial Pathways of the Piedmont, a local non-profit and housing counseling agency, created the Financial Health First Responder award to acknowledge an individual who has embodied the mission of financial wellness within their organization and out in the community.
Green works tirelessly every day to ensure that people are advocated for and equipped to achieve financial security through the purchase of their first home. Green has worked with first-time homebuyers in Forsyth County for more than 16 years, and her selfless heart for the people she serves shines through in all parts of the process. The goal in the long-term is to prepare her clients for homeownership and provide them the down payment assistance to secure a life-changing asset, but Green also provides encouragement throughout their journey, which gives them the confidence to invest in themselves far beyond that moment.
The County is proud to witness the recognition of a woman of Bianca Green’s caliber, who has quietly and humbly dedicated her life to serving others and building up our community one individual or family at a time.
