Internet and phone are out at Social Services, Public Health and Family Justice Center

UPDATE: Phone and internet have been restored.

Phone and internet service are down at the Forsyth County Departments of Social Services and Public Health, and at the Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center of Forsyth County.

All three locations remain open as the county works to resolve the issue. Social Services staff are available to assist with paper applications. Public Health clinics, including vaccinations, are open. Bridges to Hope is still receiving walk-ins for victims of family violence.

Social Services is located at 741 N. Highland Ave. Public Health is located at 799 N. Highland Ave. Bridges to Hope and Child Support are located at 725 N. Highland Ave, Annex 1.

All Medicaid and Food and Nutrition Services Applicants can still apply on-line at epass.nc.gov [LINK TO: epass.nc.gov], by mail, or by picking up and dropping off paper applications at Social Services’ entrance.

All Child Support customers may call 1-800-992-9457 for case-related information, status of court cases and to update case information. They can also visit https://ncchildsupport.com.

For those who already have active Medicaid, Medicaid Transportation or Food and Nutrition Services and that need to report a change, submit documentation, or have questions concerning their active case, can email customercare-user@forsyth.cc .

All NC Health Choice Fee payments, Health Care for the Working Disabled Fee payments, Program Integrity (Fraud) repayments, or Child Support Application Fees can be made via mail-in of a check, money order or certified check. Please mail all payments to: Forsyth County Department of Social Services, 741 Highland Ave., Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
