Winston Salem, NC - The candidate filing for Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor begins at noon on Monday, June 8, 2020, and ends at noon on Monday, July 6, 2020. Due to COVID-19, candidates filing for the Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor should schedule an appointment and are expected to wear a face covering when arriving at the Government Center building. Social distancing and enhanced hygiene measures are also in effect. Please call (336) 703-2800 to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival of your appointment, you will be asked to answer the following questions prior to entering the building:
All candidates should screen themselves before arriving, but if you exhibit any of the conditions mentioned above by your appointment date, please contact our office for further assistance with the filing process. Family and friends are discouraged from accompanying candidates filing in person as part of our safety protocol. Candidates may also mail their Notice of Candidacy rather than file in person. We encourage those that would prefer to mail their Notices of Candidacy to use this option during the first part of the filing period to ensure that the notice is received timely and can be processed accordingly. All notices mailed to our office must be received before noon, July 6, 2020.
