Two-Part Landscape Erosion Control Series to Be Held Online

Erosion washes away valuable topsoil, diminishes the aesthetic appeal of lawns, and negatively impacts local water quality. Participants that attend this 2-session webinar will learn creative ways to manage stormwater for erosion control, while enhancing the landscape with native plants. Topics will include rain gardens, rainwater harvesting, terraces, swales, and the use of vegetative live stakes. “Early Bird” registrants will be eligible to receive Creek Week T-shirts while supplies last. Participants that attend both sessions, and complete pre-and post-program evaluations, will receive a chance to win a 50-gallon Ivy Rain Barrel.

Session 1: April 14, 2020, 2:00-3:30p.m. EST
Session 2: April 21, 2020, 2:00-3:30p.m. EST

Never used Zoom before? Don't worry. Participants will receive a Zoom tutorial prior to the first session.

Registration is required. Email pbsmith4@ncsu.edu.
