NOTICE is hereby given that the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will conduct the following Special Meeting:
On Thursday, September 12, 2019, the Commissioners’ Special Meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, located on the 5th Floor, Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C., to conduct a public hearing and vote on a proposal to call a referendum on the question of whether to levy a one-quarter percent County sales and use tax pursuant to Article 46 of Chapter 105 of the North Carolina General Statutes to support education funding for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
All persons interested are invited to attend this public hearing and present their views.
A copy of this Notice shall be posted on the bulletin boards located outside the Commissioners' Meeting Room, on the fifth floor, and also in the lobby, on the first floor of the Forsyth County Government Center. A copy of this Notice shall also be sent to all on file to receive notification of any changes in the Commissioners' regular meeting schedule and shall be posted on the Forsyth County website.
