Resource of the Month: The HistoryMakers

Celebrate Black History Month with our new video oral archive of today's leaders and trailblazers. Our new HistoryMakers archives allows you to access invaluable first-person accounts of both well-known and unsung African Americans. The HistoryMakers is the nation’s largest African American video oral history collection. This is the largest archive of its kind since the WPA Slave Narratives of the 1930s.

The HistoryMakers, a 501(c) (3) national nonprofit organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is dedicated to recording and preserving the personal histories of well-known and unsung African Americans.
