Grant Writing & Nonprofit Series at Central Library on Wednesday Evenings in February

Calvin F. Patterson, the Chairman and CEO of Earnest Harvest LLC, and the host/producer of “Empowering You”, a public affairs radio program on WSNC 90.5 FM, will discuss the fundamentals of grant seeking, grant proposal writing and nonprofit management. Come to one session, or all three, as your schedule allows.

GRANT WRITING 101

This seminar is designed for small business owners interested in gaining the fundamentals of grant seeking and grant writing. Through interaction, role playing and sharing best practices, you will learn how to identify prospects, how to establish relationships with prospective funding organizations and individuals, how to structure a grant proposal and how to meet deadlines while delivering the best possible product.

This seminar is a continuation from Grant Seeking/Grant Writing 101. Attendees will refine and further develop strategies to submit successful grant proposals and examine specific grant components and concepts that help to achieve proficiency.

Are you familiar with the challenges of managing and leading a nonprofit organization? Have you considered the primary areas of focus to be efficient and effective in delivering to your community? This seminar details the many aspects of keeping your nonprofit organization productive and profitable.

These programs are part of the Small Business and Nonprofit Series at Forsyth County Public Library, in partnership with the Small Business Center at Forsyth Technical Community College. All sessions are held at the Forsyth County Central Library, 660 W. 5th St., Winston-Salem, NC.
