Join Us As We Celebrate Art at Central Library

Central Library is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and most visited art destinations in Forsyth County. In recognition of this popularity, and to spread the word about this hidden gem, we are holding a public reception on Saturday, October 14th from 1 pm to 3 pm beside the "Timeless Purpose" sculpture on Central Library's front lawn.

Currently 40 local artists are displaying their work in the Hallway Gallery located on the second floor as part of the Open Invitation Art Exhibit. These are small pieces in size, measuring less than 12" x 12" and include a variety of media.

We also have an Invitational Exhibit of six local artists in the Lobby Gallery also located on the second floor. These artists include Diane Faison, Susan Lautemann, Leo Rucker, Owens Daniels, C.B. Tatum and Jack Hernon.

The Library's permanant art collection is also displayed throughout the building. Self guided art tour handouts are available.
