On May 28, 2015, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved the FY 2015-2016 Budget which begins July 1, 2015.
A Public Hearing on the County Manager's proposed budget was held on May 26, 2015 and Commissioners held a budget workshop on May 27, 2015.
The adopted budget includes a tax rate of 73.10 cents per $100 valuation which is a 1.42 cents increase above the FY 2014-2015 rate. Of the adopted 73.10 cent tax rate, 4.51 cents is dedicated to two Education Debt Leveling Plans.
