County Commissioner Gloria D. Whisenhunt Appointed to Committee

Riki Hokama, President of the National Association of Counties recently appointed Commissioner Gloria D. Whisenhunt to serve as a member of the National Association of Counties (NACo) Large Urban County Caucus as well as a member of NACo's Healthy Counties Initiative Advisory Board.

President Hokama noted that NACo's strength is in it's committees and that strength is reflected in the commitment and active participation revealed throughout the NACo committee structure. He further explained these committees will be engaged in developing policy on a number of issues facing counties.
