Carver School Road Branch Adds Books To Fiction Collection!

The Carver School Road Branch Library has acquired over 60 African-American Christian fiction books to add to their collection thanks to a donation given in honor of Mrs. Wilhelmena Brown Lash’s 90th birthday.

Mrs. Lash is a retired Librarian of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. She is an avid reader and a valuable asset to the Carver School Road Branch Library, where she enjoys doing volunteer work whenever possible.

A great selection of titles was purchased, including well-known and little-known authors alike. Several of the books — mainly paperbacks — have been bound into hardbacks, which adds to their longevity.

The Carver School Road Branch Library would like to thank Mrs. Lash for her faithful service and her family and friends for this thoughtful gesture in honor of her.
