June is National Adopt a Cat Month

Nationally, 30% of all puppies and kittens entering shelters arrive in the months of March and April. 30% arrive in May alone. 30% arrive in June and July, while only 10% arrive during the remaining 7 months of the year. Having your pet spayed or neutered can help prevent this tragedy.

Whether you prefer a cat that's young and frisky or mature and mellow, you are sure to find the ideal cat companion during Adopt-A-Cat month.

The Adoption Fee for Cats and Kittens Who Have Already Been Spayed or Neutered is Only $34!!!!

Adoption Fee for Unaltered Cats/Kittens is $84 and includes:

  • Initial medical exam
  • Initial FeLV/FTV screening
  • Initial deworming
  • FVRCP vaccination
  • Rabies vaccination and tag
  • Microchip ID and registration
  • Mandatory spay or neuter
  • License

Top 5 Reasons to Adopt a Cat:

  • COMPANIONSHIP and GOOD FOR YOU

Cats make wonderful companions. They greet you when you get home. They follow you from room to room. And they cuddle on your lap when you are feeling lonely. Cats will lower your blood pressure and help fight depression.

  • GREAT TEACHERS

Cats stay playful, no matter what their age. It's always a joy to watch a cat play with the simplest of toys – even a string will excite them!

  • LOW-MAINTENANCE

Cats can take care of themselves while you are at work, or on a weekend getaway. They never have to be walked, and they bathe themselves.

  • INTELLIGENT

Cats are smart and can learn tricks, like "sit" and "high-five," just like a dog. Many cats can even be taught to fetch!
