Family Fishing Clinic at Tanglewood Park

Tanglewood Park is pleased to offer a Family Fishing Clinic at Shelter #3 on Tuesday, August 9th, from 9:00 am - noon. Find out what kinds of fish inhabit the lakes and ponds of Tanglewood and how to catch them. An instructor from the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will be on hand for this 3-hour workshop to demonstrate proper baiting, casting, and catch and release techniques.

You may use the fishing gear provided or bring your own. The clinic is open to adults and children ages 3 and up. Parents and/or guardians must remain with their children at all times. Cost: Workshop is free ($2.00 per car gate fee applies). Bring your own sunscreen, snacks, drinks and/or picnic lunch. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
