New Emergency Preparedness Website is Launched!

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management and the Forsyth County Citizen Corps Council are proud to announce that Forsyth County citizens now have access to ReadyFORSYTH (www.ReadyFORSYTH.org), a new website filled with emergency preparedness information.

Do you know how to prepare your family for various emergencies? Are you sure that you would receive emergency alerts such as weather watches and warnings? This new website is loaded with resources to help you prepare for unpredictable circumstances. It also contains links, widgets, weather information, local storm stories and articles about public safety events and training in Forsyth County. ReadyFORSYTH can be followed on Facebook and Twitter, or via an RSS Feed.

Melton Sadler, Director of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management, states, "This website allows us to directly communicate vital emergency information to our county residents and stakeholders, as well as to direct other information that is important to our citizens. We are particularly pleased with the social networking capabilities of the site. We look forward to future interactions with our citizens and friends."

The creation of the ReadyFORSYTH website was funded by a Citizen Corps grant issued to the Forsyth County Citizen Corps Council. The website is maintained by Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management.
