Free Computer Classes at Southside Branch

As part of our library's Computer Training Bridge program (www.forsythcomputertraining.org), free computer classes are being held at the Southside Branch Library located at 3185 Buchanan Street throughout the month of July. Classes include:

Computer ABC's for Seniors
Tuesdays and Thursdays starting July 7th (1:30 - 3:00 PM)
This fun 4-session course is designed for adults 50+ who consider themselves beginning computer users.

Drop-In Job Seekers Lab
Wednesdays (2:00 - 4:00 PM)
If you are job searching and need direction on new sites to search, need to use the public computers but hate the wait, or need to revamp your resume with some assistance, come on in. Help is here!

Computer ABC's
Thursdays starting July 16th (10:00 AM - Noon)
This hands-on 3 session course is opened for any beginning computer user.

Email Basics
Friday, July 10th
This class is offered for advanced beginners who want to work on learning how to email (or become better at it!)

Getting Familiar with your Laptop
Friday, July 17th (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
If you have a laptop computer and want to learn more about using it, join in for an exploratory workshop. Make sure you bring your laptop along!

Health Information on the Internet
Monday, July 20th (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
Learn how to find credible, current and important health information online. Join us in this informal, hands-on class!
