25th Anniversary Rod Run Car Show
The Heart of Carolina Street Rodders will be holding their 25th Anniversary Rod Run at Tanglewood Park on June 27th. The charity rod run is held annually. Beginning at 8:00 AM, the show features American cars and trucks that are 1972 and older. Held at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, the show displays nearly 200 street rods and muscle cars of all makes and models. The 3:00 PM awards ceremony includes a presentation award given by the Ronald McDonald House, Sponsor Awards, and the presentation of "North Carolina Street Rodder of the Year." There are also 10 Participants' Choice awards given - five for pre-1949 cars and five for later model cars.
In addition to all of the street rod and muscle car eye candy to take in, the Heart of Carolina Street Rodders Charity Rod Run features a Concert by "Patsy Cline Tribute Artist", Darlene Caudle at 2 PM, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, music, cash drawings, super prizes, and games for all ages. NSRA is also on hand to conduct safety inspections. Ronald McDonald himself makes an appearance from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
