Understanding Unemployment Benefits and Support Services

Are you receiving unemployment benefits but don’t fully understand all that you are entitled to receive? Do you have questions about additional support services you can use while between jobs? If these are questions that affect you directly, then you are encouraged to attend our upcoming program “Understanding Unemployment Benefits and Support Services.”

As part of the “Survive & Thrive @ the Library” employment series, this program will provide useful information on resources to help you and your family get through trying times. Scheduled speakers include Melanie Marshall, M.Ed., Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Veterans Administration; Johnny Price, Claims Supervisor, Employment Security Commission/JobLink Forsyth County; and Julie Hooker, Income Maintenance Caseworker in the Team Division for the Department of Social Services.
