How do your library computers and internet help you?
Spend 15 minutes taking the U.S. IMPACT National Survey and help improve library services all over the country! Our chance to contribute begins today and runs for only two weeks, through May 11th.
Our library is participating in a nationwide study to find out how people use public library internet and computers and how to make them better. The survey is:
• Easy — just click the link from here or the button on our home page and begin
• Quick — only 10-15 minutes to complete
• Anonymous — no personal identification is collected
Until now, no nationwide research has been conducted on how library computing services fit into peoples’ lives. Some believe that library computers are used mostly for entertainment or just to look up books. But, people use them to find jobs, stay connected with family and friends, get current health information, or to do homework projects. You will provide evidence that will be used to improve services all over the United States! Let’s inform policy makers about what you need and how they can support public library efforts.
This research project is sponsored by the University of Washington Information School and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. For more information, visit the
