Lieutenant Jordan Scott Dowd Retires

Lieutenant Jordan S. Dowd began his Law Enforcement career in 1995. He was promoted to Deputy Sheriff four (4) months after his start date. Lieutenant Dowd received several promotions throughout his career with his last promotion as Lieutenant on February 5, 2022.

Lieutenant Dowd earned the Advanced Professional Law Enforcement Certificate in 2013. He also received multiple letters of commendation.

Throughout the course of his career, Lieutenant Dowd was assigned to the Pre-trial Release Division, Criminal Investigative Division, and Patrol.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Lieutenant Jordon Scott Dowd all the best in his future endeavors.
