Air quality levels have returned to the YELLOW range as wind speeds decreased, and the wind direction shifted around to the southwest. High pressure will continue to drift south as a warm front slides into the Mid-Atlantic region just to our north. This slow-moving low will begin to weaken and fill in as it moves east but should increase cloud cover and bring a slight chance for showers early Wednesday morning. AQI readings will remain in the YELLOW range as temperatures continue to be pleasant, as highs reach around the 70 degree mark and lows hold in the upper 40s. (Bodenhamer)
